“Standing Monkey Cartwheel”

Macaco Em Pé is a Capoeira cartwheel performed in the backward direction. Very often considered as an opposite movement to Au de Frente. It is a great cartwheel to learn as it is not technically complex, it's beautiful and it can be applied in a huge number of situation within Capoeira game i.e. entrance to the Capoeira roda, escape against counter-kick or combined with Capoeira kicks.
